Denia Santaluce

I've always had a love for animals from such a young age. When I was younger my uncle had a dog that I would take care of every Sunday when we'd go over to my grandma's for family lunch. When I was around 8 years old I started horseback riding and grew a love for horses and large animals. When I got to high school I knew I wanted to be a veterinary technician.

During Covid I did a Pre-Health Program through Georgian College in Barrie for a year and then once graduated from there I got accepted into the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College. At home I have a Shih Tzu Poodle mix named Melo that my family and I adopted from the Brampton Humane Society.

When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and family, going for hikes in Bronte Creek and watching true crime documentaries.

Tanya Clifton

Tanya joined us in 2022. She has fifteen years of experience in the pet care field including grooming, boarding and pet store management. Tanya has two Pomeranian mixes, Luna and Nova, and a senior leopard gecko, Lexi. She has a special place in her heart for birds, fish and reptiles. In her free time, she enjoys going on hikes, lifting weights and spending time with her dogs, friends and family.

Jaimi

Jaimi joined our sister clinic, Southside Pet Hospital, in 2016, and later became part of the Sixteen Mile team. A 2011 graduate of Northern College's Veterinary Assistant and Animal Grooming program, she has a natural gift for putting both pets and their people at ease. Jaimi is the proud parent of her sheltie, Jake, several cats, and her daughter, Veronica. When she's not at the clinic, you'll find her enjoying the outdoors or baking up something in the kitchen.

Rebecca Verilli

I joined the Veterinary world in 2023 working as ACA/CSR, gaining most of my experience on the fly. I've always had a love for animals that has bloomed into an unexpected, but fulfilling career. When not behind the desk, you can find me cozying up with my cats and a video game, or enjoying cottage life with my husband.
